A few weeks ago this 91-year-old patient came to us with severe pain caused by the two-level absolute spinal canal stenosis.

Although other medical institutions were reluctant to operate due to surgical and anesthesiological risks, our team once again proved that it is ready for the most demanding cases and that minimally-invasive spinal surgery can meet all challenges.

In our hospital bilateral micro-endoscopic decompression of the spinal canal was performed at two levels under spinal anesthesia.

By applying minimally-invasive surgical technique and spinal anesthesia we enabled the patient to undergo the much-needed surgery without significant risks, greatly reduced pain syndrome and discharge to home care after just one night in the hospital.
